Hello, I'm Claudia, a psychotherapist, researcher and wellbeing coach with over 15 years of experience dedicated to supporting the mental health and wellbeing of individuals, families, and communities.

My goal is to make mental healthcare more accessible and attuned to the diverse needs of those I work with, always considering and critiquing the broader social and political context to foster healthier minds, bodies, relationships, and communities. I believe human suffering is inevitable but there is a lot that can be done to alleviate avoidable pain, cultivate joy & meaningful relationships, and create more equitable support.

As a mixed-race, Black feminist, my ongoing professional development, commitment to radical self-care, and personal therapy helps me work towards this goal as well as navigate my own challenges, trauma, privilege and relationships. I've made a list of books that have helped me over the years that might support your wellbeing journey.

  • My integrative psychotherapy practice is informed by a variety of therapeutic modalities, with a focus on relational, attachment-informed, and embodied approaches. I offer both online and in-person therapy, welcoming clients from all backgrounds. I also have specialised expertise in supporting health, wellness and other frontline practitioners to explore experiences such as burnout, vicarious trauma and compassion fatigue.

  • In addition to my private therapy practice, I offer the Wellbeing Reset – a personalised 1:1 coaching package I co-developed with Lucy Gardner. This holistic, research-based approach is designed to enhance your overall sense of wellbeing and align your life with your values.

  • My work goes beyond 1:1 work into system change. I collaborate with a range of organisations, including local community settings, statutory and voluntary sectors, and research providers. I provide Reflective Practice sessions to help practitioners grow, address systemic challenges, and offer research, consultancy, and training to develop accessible and equitable mental health support systems.
